Why do I consider Lauren Bacall one of my favorite actresses? First off, Lauren just looks naturally confident. She never seemed afraid of her prominent male costars. She plays each role terrifically, whether it be alongside her husband Humphrey Bogart or alongside the charming Gregory Peck.

She was a strong woman, and viewers can see that trait displayed on screen. I think she was great in all of her film noir films; she just had a natural talent to play those roles. She for sure made an impact on the Golden Age of Hollywood.
